Delving into the Terroir of the Eisele Vineyard
Araujo Estate invites the winning bidder and five guests to stay a weekend on the Estate for full immersion into the terroir of the Eisele Vineyard.
In the morning, you will be guided through the property, exploring the complexity of this famed, 38-acre biodynamic vineyard through its different parcels. An al fresco luncheon will then be served in the old olive orchard beside Simmons Creek.
After lunch, a blending session led by the Technical Director & Winemaker will allow you to understand how the character of the terroir expresses itself through the nuances of its best Cabernet Sauvignon parcels. Embracing the search for the clearest voice of the Eisele Vineyard, you will be offered the opportunity to create your own unique blend of Eisele Cabernet.
For the evening, you are invited to an intimate dinner in the private residence of the Pinault family. Dinner will be hosted by the Estate Director and Frederic Engerer, CEO of Artemis Domaines (Chateau Latour, Domaine d’Eugenie, Chateau Grillet, and Araujo), and served before soaring windows looking out on the vineyard and Palisades Mountains. Chef’s menu will feature ingredients foraged from our organic gardens and local farms. Our dinner will be paired with Eisele Vineyard wines spanning five different decades from the Estate's library and cellars.
Finally, to extend the experience for years to come, we will prepare a case of bottles and a case of magnums of your ‘Unique-blend' Eisele Vineyard Cabernet. These will be matched by the Estate Eisele Cabernet bottling of the same vintage.
From the vineyard to the bottle, this is the most comprehensive exploration of Eisele terroir one could ever experience.
All events and attendance to be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date.
