40 Years of Wines With Altitude

Help us celebrate 40 years of Mount Veeder wines! You and 7
friends will be in for an experience of a lifetime in the
heart of the Mount Veeder AVA. Begin the day with a (curvy!)
drive up the mountain, during which you will see the fog
slip away and blue skies blaze as you surmount the fog line.

Once you arrive at our vineyard property on the steep slopes
of Mount Veeder, you'll soon see why this AVA is so unique.
With our first bottling having taken place in 1973, 2013
marks our 40th Anniversary of making delicious and complex
high-altitude wines, a milestone we're very excited to
celebrate!

Your wine educator will guide your leisurely hike through
the vineyards, stopping frequently along the way to share
the history of the vineyard, touch the vines, taste the
berries (green or ripe!) and enjoy the view of the entire
Napa Valley below. As you crest the final hill nearing an
altitude of 1500 feet, you will be welcomed by an al fresco
lunch of locally sourced, sustainably-produced delicacies
and savories.

Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying a vertical tasting
of Mount Veeder Winery wines, finding out for yourselves
what makes the place and the wines so special. We'll be
featuring a bottle from each of the 4 decades that we've
been producing Mount Veeder wines, as well as multiple wines
from vintages over the past 10 years. With such an
incredible view and enjoyable experience, we may have to
drag you off the mountain, as you will never want to leave!
